Lindström India, a textile rental company and part of Finland-based Lindström Oy, is preparing to launch its 13th unit in India. Currently, the company has 12 units distributed across different regions in the country and operates a production-on-demand facility in Mumbai, with plans to establish an additional unit in Hyderabad soon.

The Mumbai unit handles approximately 70% of the garment production in-house, while the remaining garments are sourced from the company's partners.

Jayant Roy, the Managing Director, noted that there is substantial sourcing from India for European and Asian operations at the group level. Since commencing operations in India in 2007, the company has experienced double-digit annual growth, with a focus on serving various sectors, including pharma, healthcare, food, electronics, and emerging areas such as automobiles, engineering, mining, and metals. Roy highlighted Lindström's commitment to sustainability and efforts to explore recycling garments into other products.
