The coming year 2024 starts with new hopes and best wishes for our family and friends as well as fresh energy for ourselves, meaning: best premises for implementing on the spot what we have in mind for our future and the future of our country. We are all one. But we don`t rush after running hares. The trend towards stability, deliberateness, and overall peacefulness is reflected in calm, dimmed, soothing colours, that don`t distract us from focussing on what is on our mind and make us feel extremely comfortable.
We value home, even when we travel, and cherish homey and comfortable surroundings in hotels and cafés. We admire the French ‘savoir vivre’ or (live life fully & elegantly) in times when we really need a break.
Environmental issues have become a habit, we recycle, we reuse, materials are natural and inspiring, and textiles with a haptic experience transmit a sense of value to handcrafted items. From here on, we’ll explore new spaces and make the world a better and peaceful place! Hence, let’s do it!
2024 starts with a new breeze blowing through our homes and our lives. More than in other years, we love to do more thinking. Our consciousness is a new one, our gratefulness for what we have achieved and for what fate has been wanting to let us have, is deeper. We love enjoying and living our lives with a clear orientation towards what is worth it or not. We are more choosy and not always happy with the first quick solution coming around. Sustainable quality is what we go for. Our decisions are made to last, not just for the moment. During the weekend, we may take some city-hopping breaks for memorable sightseeing and a wonderful shopping tour, celebrating our outings as “cupcakes” of everyday life. Of course, travelling with crème white suitcases makes us start any journey with a charming touch of glamour. Crème white easy chairs in sophisticated shapes invite us to lounge and with a fancy lilac champagne in our hands, our moods cheer up instantly!
Light-hearted lounging and surroundings in clear natural colours take away any sorrow. At home, wallpapers in friendly flowery patterns in non-aggressive shapes and colours receive us with ease. Eating from tableware in soft blueish and greenish colours with white accents and natural flower and grass decorations reminds us of the seaside and stirs up happiness in our souls. Fresh colours create a general feeling of renewal in every way and provide us with clear and bright thoughts, too, a charming breeze to our souls.
At the beginning of the year, our minds are more than overflowing with great plans and purposes! Where is your bucket list? Life is short and unpredictable, so let us start doing what we always wished to do: let us meet, let us travel! Let us gather with our friends and family members, rent a bus or – in a retro way – try a first class by train for the first time and find out what is up in our homeland! How about getting out to explore the beauties of nature and have some playful experiences? Playing “boule” outdoors calmly like the French or doing some paragliding? Travelling and enjoying the immense variety of landscapes in our country rewards us with greatest pleasure and helps our very own economy to prosper, advantages for all of us! Fresh air, clear wells, roaring Ganga arising from green mountains, butterflies fluttering around… no better way to have a picnic in the grass – well equipped with a beautiful carpet to stay on, easy to handle pots, plates, cups, thermos flasks and jars and not to forget enough storage boxes and pretty containers, not to leave any garbage behind: with a new caring eye for the environment!
A backpack for cool walking tours, exploring by foot lovely sightseeing points or pilgrim sites and a tent or sunblind for a restful nap in the afternoon. We won’t get enough from it. At home, nature-inspired furniture will be reminding us of our trips, made of wood and handcrafted upholstery in green and blueish tints, photos, and souvenirs, all the loveable memories of our wanderlust!
The day is gone, we’ve been out in full activity, trying to save the World, giving the best in our jobs, being nice to our neighbours and our relatives, making peace, not war… and we feel in deep need to come home. We reflect on the day. Let’s put away any arguments we have had and any difficulties we have been through and focus our minds on positive and optimistic thoughts: tomorrow is a new day! We open the door to our place, take off our shoes, and lay a loving look around our place. Maybe our kids are running to hug us and tell us what they’ve be doing at school, maybe somebody else is welcoming us with a kind voice… Surrounded by nice things and lovable memories, we remember a soothing talk with a family member, a laugh with a friend, and relax in our little universe while preparing calmly for everybody a self-made soft drink with the blender or mixer and finally dropping back into our cosy dreamlike sofa, naturally handcrafted in comforting colours: sand and greens.
Meditating a while, watching our fishes in the aquarium, enjoying our beautifully arranged plants on the windowsills, and finally giving heartfully a hand to prepare a light meal we are going to eat with relish from a lavishly arranged table. Tablecloths and fine crockery in pastel shades of dreamy colours: lilac, pink, green, sandalwood, beige, and taupe. The sleeping room is waiting for us in dimmed shades, with soft and fresh satin sheets… Sunset is like a cocoon spending us a carefree night.
