Accenture, a leading information technology services company, announced on January 29 a significant digital transformation agreement with Indo Count Industries, a prominent home textile manufacturer. The deal aims to standardize, optimize, and re-engineer Indo Count's business processes, targeting key functions such as manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, and procurement.
According to a release by Accenture, the IT services firm will undertake the design, development, and deployment of a digital core utilizing SAP S/4HANA Cloud. This digital core, powered by data and analytics, is expected to automate and digitize Indo Count's operations, paving the way for enhanced efficiencies and improved business outcomes.
Dinesh Singh, Managing Director of the Chemicals and Natural Resources practices in India at Accenture, emphasized the importance of a robust data-driven digital core as the cornerstone of Indo Count's reinvention. By leveraging technology to streamline processes and harness data insights, the company aims to bolster its competitive edge and drive innovation across its operations.
