Big Hello, a specialty fashion brand catering to plus-sized individuals, announced the launch of four new stores in Hyderabad on Wednesday. The newly opened stores are located in Kukatpally, Upperpally, Miyapur, and Panjagutta, offering a wide range of fashion clothing and accessories for plus-sized men and women. Each experience store features a dedicated lounge area for customers to sit and shop comfortably.
With these new additions, Big Hello now operates a total of 11 physical retail stores across Bangalore, Chennai, Vijayawada, and Hyderabad. The brand is owned by Absolute Brands and Retail Private Limited (ABRPL), a leading fashion retailing company.
Big Hello also operates an e-commerce store and plans to open eight more stores in Hyderabad by the end of this financial year. “Big Hello will soon expand and open more stores in Telangana and other southern states. We are establishing Big Hello to be the go-to destination for plus-size fashion across India,” said Vishnu Prasad, Founder and CEO of ABRPL.
The Indian plus-size fashion apparel market is valued at ₹88,000 crore, representing 12 percent of the overall fashion market. Of this, the organized market accounts for 33 percent, or approximately ₹29,000 crore. This market is projected to grow at a CAGR of 25 percent over the next five years.
Prasad added, “Hyderabadis love to express their personality through stylish and well-fitting clothes, but for a large number of plus-sized people, finding such clothes has always been an uphill battle. Big Hello’s launch in Hyderabad solves this problem.” The brand's collection includes a range of western and Indian ethnic wear for men and women, such as shirts, t-shirts, trousers, jeans, chinos, shorts, blazers, kurtas, ethnic bottom-wear, and bandhgalas.
