Dyson is set to unveil its groundbreaking Airstrait hair straightener in India on July 4, 2024. This innovative device promises to revolutionize hair styling by offering a unique wet-to-dry solution without traditional hot plates.
Unlike conventional straighteners, the Airstrait uses high-pressure airflow to simultaneously dry and straighten hair, significantly reducing the risk of heat damage. Dyson emphasizes that this method helps maintain hair's strength and health, providing users with a sleek, polished look while preserving the natural movement and shine of their tresses.
The Airstrait straightener is designed to accommodate various hair types, enabling users to achieve a natural straight style with ease. It features multiple styling modes, including Wet, Dry, and Cool, as well as two-speed settings to cater to individual preferences. Additionally, the device’s intelligent heat control system adjusts the temperature up to 16 times per second, ensuring optimal styling and protection for the hair.
“The Airstrait straightener is a game-changer in the hair styling industry,” said a Dyson spokesperson. “By harnessing the power of air, we’ve created a tool that allows users to achieve salon-quality results at home without the risk of heat damage. We’re excited to bring this revolutionary technology to the Indian market.”
While Dyson has not disclosed the exact pricing for the Indian market, the Airstrait straightener is expected to be priced around ₹50,000, aligning with the company’s premium positioning in the country. The device was previously launched in the US at $799 and has since been introduced in various other international markets.
The launch of the Airstrait straightener in India is part of Dyson’s ongoing efforts to expand its hair care product portfolio in the country. Earlier, the company introduced the Corrale cord-free hair straightener, which was well-received by Indian consumers.
