Lulu Fashion Week (LFW), Lulu Group’s most iconic annual IP and one of the most exciting fashion events of the year, is all set to launch in Bengaluru from 05 – 07 May 2023. This year’s theme focuses on India’s ascent in global fashion.
Its more special this year as this is for the first time its been extended to other states outside Kerala(kochi) and will be taking it Lucknow and Trivandrum from this year onwards.
Lulu Fashion Week (LFW) is a celebration of style, creativity, and innovation in the fashion industry, bringing together professionals from the fashion, entertainment, and retail industries. The three-day long event will be helmed by one of India’s best-known fashion choreographers and leading celebrity stylist, Rajesh Shetty.
The debut edition of LFW in Bengaluru will exhibit the spring/summer collections of several global brands with Fashion Shows, Fashion Awards and a Fashion Forum, featuring high-end couture to streetwear; luxury accessories to eco-friendly fashion. This year, LFW is being choreographed by Rajesh Shetty, one of India’s best-known fashion choreographers and leading celebrity stylist, and will feature the season’s most eye-catching spring and summer fashion trends and styles from global brands. With multiple fashion shows spread across three days, prominent models are set to walk the ramp for leading brands like Levi's, Peter England, Flying Machine, Kraus Jeans, Caprese, Croydon, Identiti, American Tourister, Jockey, VIP, and more.
Lulu has also planned a unique fashion show involving senior couples and kids, to lay emphasis on the fact that fashion is truly for all. Lulu Fashion Awards aims to recognise the exceptional contributions of eminent personalities and brands in the fashion industry, with the ‘Style Icon of the Year’ Awards, and awards in several other categories.
Lulu Fashion Forum will be hosted for students and fashionistas across Bengaluru. Many fashion students from prestigious colleges across the city are expected to attend the discussion at Lulu Mall, Bengaluru.
This year’s theme is ‘Sustainable Fashion', and the discussion will include eminent personalities from different sectors as panellists. With a focus on inclusivity, diversity, and sustainability, Lulu aims to redefine the benchmarks of fashion in the industry.
