The event featured over 80 captivating shows from designers across various nations, including brands from India, China, South Africa, Indonesia, Costa Rica, Brazil, the UAE, and Russia.
Moscow Fashion Week provided a fantastic opportunity for both established and emerging designers to unveil their latest collections to a global audience. Renowned for its authentic representation of diverse cultural influences and current trends, the event solidified its reputation as a key event in the international fashion landscape.
One of the standout shows on the opening day featured the Indian brand NITIN BAL CHAUHAN, presented by the Fashion Design Council of India. Many experts hailed it as one of the most exciting and promising names in the Indian fashion industry. The brand has gained international recognition, with its creations now available in the Middle East, Canada, Indonesia, and Nepal. Previously showcased at London Fashion Week, Tokyo, and the Tranoi Fair in Paris, NITIN BAL CHAUHAN became a regular participant at Moscow Fashion Week, having already been featured in the spring edition.
According to Nitin Bal Chauhan, the visionary behind the brand, the global fashion market is eager for innovative designs, and Moscow Fashion Week provided the perfect platform for this. “I did my first show at Moscow Fashion Week and got a great response that encouraged me to come back again this season. I see the Russian market being very similar to the part of India I come from. They appreciate colour, rich hand embroideries and folklore. It is the best platform to showcase my work in Russia and with the best media, influencers, bloggers attending the show, it helped me in increasing the visibility of my brand,” said the founder.
Among Russian brands, HakaMa showcased new collections catering to creative and confident women, blending Oriental minimalism with asymmetrical designs to create a harmonious balance of intellect and femininity. Meanwhile, N 6 by Alsu M. presented a stunning collection featuring elegant silk dresses, lace-detail blouses, classic suits, oversized jackets, and luxurious velvet jackets, all available in a versatile color palette ranging from pristine white to vibrant scarlet, artfully merging femininity and elegance with business style.
Moscow Fashion Week followed the BRICS+ Fashion Summit, which convened fashion experts from over 100 countries.
