DELEGATION PROMOTION BHARAT TEX 2025 NATIONAL

A high-level delegation from MATEXIL, led by Rohit Kansal, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Textiles, and Shri Bhadresh Dodhia, Chairman of MATEXIL and Co-Chairman of Bharat Tex 2025, recently conducted a series of productive meetings with Turkish business leaders to promote participation in Bharat Tex 2025. The delegation, which also included Shri Sunil Patwari, Chairman of TEXPROCIL, and Mr. K. Sakthivel, Vice Chairman of PDEXCIL, invited Turkish associations and trade bodies to attend the upcoming event.
Key organizations such as the Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry, TGSD, TIM, ITKIB, MUSIAD, and TETSIAD have expressed strong interest in participating. One-on-one meetings were also held with prominent Turkish business leaders, including Yilmaz, Chairman of KOTON; Livyo Zakuto, Chairman of DICLE TEXTILES; Atalay, CEO of DANTEX TEXTILES; Ebrahim Inel from Vakko; and Cemsl Beyazit from the Istanbul Fashion Academy.
During these discussions, Shri Rohit Kansal highlighted the Indian government's support for the textile and clothing sector, emphasizing the opportunities for collaboration between India and Turkey. Bhadresh Dodhia made a detailed presentation on the scale of Bharat Tex 2025, outlining the benefits for international buyers and the complementary opportunities available for foreign participants.
The meetings were well-received, and MATEXIL anticipates a strong presence from Turkish buyers and investors at Bharat Tex 2025. This mega event is expected to foster greater cooperation and investment opportunities in the textile industry between Turkey and India.
