Max Urban brought great, summer holiday fashion options with two electrifying collections during Lakmē Fashion Week in partnership with FDCI.
SICILIAN SUMMER
Think of Sicily and visions of sunny holidays, colourful beaches and vibrant fun filled days come to mind. Max Urban’s “Sicilian Summer” collection was all about the fun, colour and styles, which were a great confluence of carefree, vintage vibes and charm. The bold prints that created fashionable spirited looks, were aimed at trendsetting sun worshippers, who aim for resort and holiday adventures.
Women’s wear was a striking, flirty, mélange of balanced styles that will take the wearer from seaside soirées to city brunches. Men’s wear matched the mood of the Sicilian atmosphere, as it was offered in cool, casual and ready-to-wear comfort.
The “Sicilian Summer” wardrobe offered fashion that was not only trendy and fashionably fast forward, but ideal for days that moved seamlessly from dawn to dusk.
THE AMALFI ESCAPE
The cool breeze of the Mediterranean coastline, the azure blue of the sea and the sunny beaches under swaying palm palms are visions that one dreams of when planning a resort holiday. These are dream holiday visions, and to match them with the perfect wardrobe, the “Amalfi Escape” collection would do all the talking for the stylish buyers.
The very effervescent Kalki Koechlin was the perfect choice as show opener for the “Amalfi Escape” collection as she danced with great joie de vivre in a white, flared, printed summer dress.
Here was a men’s and women’s wear collection that offered effortless style, combined with leisurely shapes and cool cuts. Matching the calming colours of the Italian coastline, the garments revolved around pristine crisp whites and cool blues, along with varying terracotta, rusts and sunlight oranges for the colour palette. The relaxed appeal of the collection moved with great style and élan as it offered perfect wardrobe options that moved from relaxed days sipping piping espresso at dawn to aperitifs at dusk.
The “Amalfi Escape” line was a line of apparel for stylish buyers, who are looking for the ideal vacation choices that would be perfect for global trotting.
"Being a part of Max Fashion’s debut at Lakmé Fashion Week was an incredible experience for me. This collection speaks to the power of individuality, effortless style, and the confidence to own your uniqueness. Max has always embraced the idea that fashion should be for everyone, and I’m proud to walk the runway for a brand that celebrates self-expression and inclusivity. The Sicilian Summer and Amalfi Escape collections are not just about fashion—they’re a celebration of living freely, confidently, and with boldness. Fashion is no longer about unattainable aspirations, but about embracing your true self, wherever you are.” – actress Kalki Koechlin
Sumit Chandna, Deputy CEO of Max Fashion, had this to say, "This debut represents the next big step in our evolution. Max Fashion has always been about making great fashion available to everyone—whether that’s through our over 520 stores or our growing online presence. Lakmé Fashion Week is a natural extension of our vision to make fashion not just about aspiration, but about accessibility and inclusivity. This is more than a show; it’s the start of a new era for fashion in India."
