Contemporary luxury watchmaker Ritmo Mundo will unveil two groundbreaking sapphire-cased collections in Geneva – each pushing the boundaries of transparency, engineering, and aesthetic audacity. The brand’s exhibition during Geneva Watch Week, at Hotel L’Angleterre from April 1-7 in Switzerland, will mark the world premiere of the Acqua Collection, an entirely new, customizable chronograph featuring a fully transparent sapphire case, alongside the international debut of Pegasus and Pegasus Tourbillon, following their U.S. introduction in 2024.
According to Ritmo Mundo Founder Ali Soltani, these unveilings underline Ritmo Mundo’s commitment to visionary design and mechanical excellence – and reaffirms the brand’s commitment to a new vision – ‘Ritmo Mundo 2.0:’ “The Pegasus Collection represents a defining moment for Ritmo Mundo 2.0. It captures everything the brand stands for today: modern luxury, transparency, confidence, and ingenuity. The outstanding market reception to this collection inspired us to continue expanding Ritmo Mundo’s sapphire case offerings – and the Acqua sapphire chronograph represents that nextstep in our journey,” said Soltani, continuing: “I’m proud to present these remarkable new collections in Geneva. It’s a milestone moment that speaks to Ritmo Mundo’s strategic move into higher end horology.”
Making its world premiere in Geneva this spring, the Acqua Collection is the next evolution in Ritmo Mundo’s mastery of synthetic sapphire case construction. Built around a transparent full sapphire case and automatic chronograph movement, Acqua embodies the harmony of technical performance and architectural, artistic clarity.Acqua’s three 38 mm sapphire case chronograph models offer the chance for collectors to express their personality in vivid color. The richly saturated sapphire crystal editions comes complete with two interchangeable silicone strap options–pairing the clear case with red and black straps, the blue case with blue and white straps, and the turquoise case modelwith both turquoise and orange silicone straps. The three signature Ritmo Mundo Acqua models feature standard clear sapphire dials or silvertone dials. Collectors looking for a custom option may work with Ritmo Mundo to select their sapphire case and dial combination of choice with an approximate three-to-four-month turnaround. The transparent, full sapphire cases allow an unobstructed view of the mechanical ETA/Valjoux Caliber 7753 movement, which features central hours, central minutes, central chronograph seconds, and small seconds, 30 minutes and 12-hour chronograph counters, and offers a robust 48-hour power reserve. With its ergonomic design and water resistance up to 100M, Acqua is also ready for action in any environment.
Key Features of the Acqua Collection:
“Acqua is clarity in motion,” says Soltani. “It’s about bringing together the best elements of precision, strength, and transparency, without compromise. This is not just a watch—it’s a statement of Ritmo Mundo’s intention to deliver compelling timepieces that deliver style and horological substance.” Soldani plans to limit Acqua production – a move sure to add to the model’s appeal.
Pegasus Takes Flight on the International StageFirst launched in the U.S. in 2024, the Ritmo Mundo Pegasus Collection introduced the market to one of the most accessible and daring sapphire watches ever created—featuring a fully transparent sapphire crystal case top and a skeletonized dial. Built to stun, the Pegasus combines architectural form with everyday wearability. Its counterpart, the Pegasus Tourbillon, raised the bar further, introducing the brand’s first-ever tourbillon complication. With a hand-assembled movement, gold-plated barrel, and panoramic case construction, the Tourbillon encapsulates high horology elegance and disruptive pricing. Starting at $3,500 USD for the Pegasus three-hand model, and $12,900 for the Tourbillon edition, Ritmo Mundo’s Pegasus series presents a clear rebuke to traditional tourbillon market entry points.
