Aditya Birla Fashion & Retail Ltd (ABFRL), in collaboration with ace couturier Tarun Tahiliani, has inaugurated a new Tasva store at Electronic City, Bengaluru — marking a strategic expansion of the brand’s ethnic menswear footprint across India. The announcement was made official via a company post on LinkedIn.
Tasva—a portmanteau for "Tat" (all that is me) and "Sva" (all that is mine)—embodies individuality through its blend of traditional Indian craftsmanship and contemporary design adityabirla.comTasva. The brand prides itself on offering “wedding and occasion wear for the modern Indian man,” prioritizing comfort, fit, and sophistication at accessible price points.
Tasva is a joint venture wherein Tarun Tahiliani retains creative control while ABFRL provides operational and retail strength. Today, Tasva operates over 65 stores across 17 Indian states and has ambitious plans to expand its network further.
The new Bengaluru outlet, nestled in the city’s bustling Electronic City corridor, is poised to serve tech-savvy professionals who value both comfort and elegance in their ethnic wear. The collection includes sherwanis, bandhgalas, kurta sets, and more, all designed with precision tailoring and luxurious fabrics such as silk, brocade, and velvet.
With this launch, ABFRL continues to deepen Tasva’s presence in India’s wedding and ethnic wear segment, supported by its robust multi-brand and D2C retail infrastructure.
