Lehar Footwear Limited, one of India’s leading footwear companies, has announced plans to launch its new brand, RANNR, in the sports and athleisure footwear segment. The launch marks a strategic expansion beyond Lehar’s established categories of slippers and sandals into performance-orientated shoes, aligning with the fast-growing consumer demand for durable, stylish, and elevated sports footwear. Backed by Lehar’s strong manufacturing base of four world-class facilities in Jaipur, Rajasthan, and one in Kundli, Haryana, RANNR will combine large-scale production strength with nationwide distribution to make quality sports shoes widely accessible.
The objective of RANNR is to deliver sports footwear with trending designs, durability, comfort, and value – crafted for Indian consumers who seek quality without compromising on endurance. With an emphasis on design, performance, and everyday versatility, the brand will target young professionals, fitness enthusiasts, students, and lifestyle-conscious consumers. RANNR aims to bridge the gap between high-performance footwear and accessible pricing, creating a trusted choice for both active and casual wear.
Lehar will leverage its network of over 520 distributors across 27 states to ensure deep market penetration from the outset. Alongside traditional distribution, the company will introduce RANNR on leading e-commerce platforms and launch a dedicated direct-to-consumer (D2C) platform, building stronger digital engagement with customers. In the long term, the brand will expand its product portfolio from core sports shoes to running, walking, training, and lifestyle categories, while also exploring international markets across Asia, Africa, and the Middle East.
Commenting on the launch, Raj Kumar Agarwal, Chairman and Whole-time Director, Lehar Footwear Limited, said, “Sports and athleisure are one of the fastest-growing categories in India, driven by fitness awareness, youth-led fashion trends, and value-conscious choices. With RANNR, our goal is to make reliable, stylish, and performance-oriented sports shoes available to millions of consumers who are looking for quality at the right price point. This launch is not just about entering a new segment but about shaping the future of footwear for India’s next generation of consumers.”
“Lehar has built its reputation on trust, quality, and value. We achieved our highest-ever revenue of ₹277.2 crore in FY25 and continued this momentum with sales of ₹142.2 crore in Q1 FY26. This performance reflects the strength of our portfolio and our ability to anticipate evolving consumer needs. With RANNR, supported by our strong distribution backbone, a digital-first strategy, and world-class manufacturing facilities, we are confident of scaling quickly and establishing RANNR as a household name in sports and lifestyle footwear both in India and in international markets,” he further added.
Lehar Footwear has a proven record of expanding into new categories. The company recently entered the fast-growing EVA footwear segment, addressing demand for lightweight, durable, water-resistant products. Leveraging its retail network and manufacturing strength, it launched brands such as Crozi, Hilux, Bliss, and Hawai Slippers, which have gained strong acceptance. With RANNR, Lehar is now diversifying into the sports shoes category with a dedicated facility, marking a significant step in broadening its portfolio and strengthening its position in the Indian footwear industry.
