With 100 days to go until the Paralympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026, anticipation is building as the athletes enter the final stretch toward the Opening Ceremony on March 6th. To commemorate the upcoming celebration of sport and international unity, the Official Timekeeper OMEGA unveils a tribute Speedmaster created especially for the countdown moment.
OMEGA's partnership with the Paralympic Games represents decades of commitment to precision, innovation, and inclusion. Since first timing the event in 1992, the brand has continually brought reliability and excellence to the competition's most critical moments. At Milano Cortina 2026, the brand will again oversee timekeeping for all events across the six winter sports.
The new Speedmaster Milano Cortina 2026 channels the vibrancy of the Paralympic Winter Games through its 38 mm case in polished stainless steel, and the deep blue ceramic bezel, complete with a crisp white enamel tachymeter scale.
The dial presents a fresh interpretation of winter texture. The white varnished surface includes a blue frosting, with a subtle trace pattern matching the “26” at the heart of the Milano Cortina 2026 emblem. Each subdial also features an azurage finish that recalls the rhythmic lines of a perfectly groomed ski run, while the Milano Cortina 2026 typography appears distinctively in the date window at 6 o'clock.
While this model follows a similar design to the Speedmaster 38 mm released for the Olympic Games, unique touches include the stamped Paralympic Winter Games medallion on the caseback, as well as a central seconds hand with a red, blue and green gradient that echoes the colours of the competition emblem.
The timepiece is presented on a polished and brushed stainless steel bracelet featuring OMEGA's patented comfort release system for an ideal fit. Inside, the self-winding Co-Axial Calibre 3330 ensures exceptional precision and a power reserve of 52 hours - ready to keep pace with the determined Paralympic athletes from around the world.
