The journey without cultural or aesthetic confines - always a key feature of the PIOMBO in OVS collection - continues. This time we find traces of the England we all dream about: the countryside, with lush green meadows stretching down to the cliffs and the roaring sea below.
The collection brings back shades of evergreen and undergrowth, embodied in waterproof jackets originally designed for the countryside but now reimagined for city wear. There is also a cape version, perfect over a chunky sweater, blazer or denim jacket. And it pairs beautifully with a touch of romance, in the form of lace and ruffles. Because the modern woman is both bold and romantic. She has rediscovered the freedom to dress as she wishes, revisiting precious details from the history of womenswear.

Decorative details like colourful beading, which, when viewed close up, embellish army jackets and masculine shirts in an unexpected way. The long skirt, the kind that seems to dance with every step. The white shirt, never just white, with special weaves or designs that seem hand-drawn with a biro. Freedom… freedom to wear a sheepskin over a midi skirt; to borrow a rugby polo from the world of sport, and to let the collar of an executive shirt peek out while pairing it with a front-split denim skirt; or to break up a suede suit, wearing the blazer with velvet pants and the skirt with a chunky yellow and brown striped jumper. Brown becomes the leitmotif of many outfits.
A range of shades – earth, burnt, cocoa, dark chocolate, and coffee – forms the new black, without the heaviness it often brings. Brown also complements blue, as seen in versatile pieces like the pea coat and yachting blazer with gold buttons, which shift from country style when worn with Nordic jacquard knits to city style when worn with pressed trousers and a basic pullover. And it softens the brightness of bold-coloured pullovers that lighten up the winter.
Back by popular demand, a collection classic: the suede jacket with fringe. It sheds its western feel and becomes a replacement for the blazer. Two standout pieces: the sleeveless sheepskin jacket, which pairs with absolutely everything (ultra-warm, chunky pullovers, jackets of all types), and the hand-made, multi-coloured cardigan robe, which ties at the waist with a rope belt (available in many colours). The trousers are designed to sit perfectly on the hips, with a straight fit that’s not too wide. Ironed with a crease, they fall perfectly. Their ease comes from the fact they are easy to mix and match with all other items in the collection, making them the ideal ingredient for any outfit. They help you create your perfect style recipe every time. And don’t forget the large check scarves: super-soft and snuggly, like a warm embrace.
