Jacob John has been appointed as CEO – Emerging Business at Aditya Birla Lifestyle Brands Limited (ABLBL), a key entity within the Aditya Birla Group. In this strategic role, he will lead the growth, innovation, and development of emerging categories and premium lifestyle offerings across the company’s expanding portfolio of brands.

Prior to this appointment, Jacob served as President – Premium Brands at Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Ltd. for over five years, where he played a pivotal role in expanding and consolidating the group’s premium fashion labels. His leadership significantly enhanced brand visibility and strengthened performance across marquee brands in a competitive market.

Earlier in his career, Jacob was CEO and Managing Director at Modenik Lifestyle Pvt Ltd, an Advent International Company, where he transformed the innerwear and athleisure business, establishing a strong presence in the mass premium segment. He also held the position of Deputy CEO – Lifestyle Department Stores at Landmark Group, contributing to business growth, customer engagement, and omni-channel innovation across retail operations.

Jacob’s extensive experience with the Aditya Birla Group includes over eight years at Madura Fashion & Lifestyle, where he held senior leadership positions such as Chief Operating Officer and Brand Director – Louis Philippe. During his tenure, he successfully drove category growth, brand rejuvenation, and customer insight-led strategies, cementing his reputation as a leader with a deep understanding of premium and lifestyle retail.
