A seasoned marketer with a strong command of consumer insight and retail dynamics, Rajesh holds an MBA in Marketing from Thiagarajar School of Management and a PGDRM from Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies. His academic foundation—rooted in both marketing strategy and retail management—has shaped his trademark ability to craft consumer-first brand journeys in fast-evolving markets.
Rajesh began his professional journey during the formative years of India’s organized retail sector, working with pioneering companies such as RPG Cellular, Titan, Reliance Industries, and Spencer’s Retail. These early assignments offered him deep exposure to India’s diverse consumer segments and the operational rigour needed to scale retail formats across geographies.
His leadership trajectory strengthened further at Vishal Mega Mart and later at Landmark Group’s Easybuy, where he built and institutionalized high-performance marketing engines. From launch playbooks for new stores to consumer segmentation frameworks, CRM ecosystems, and repeat-driven demand models, Rajesh played a key role in shaping sustainable hyper-growth at both organisations.
