Poonam Soni, one of India’s most celebrated jewellery designers, has unveiled BraceWatch, a cult collectible bracelet that brings together fine jewellery craftsmanship and miniature art in a distinctive new format. The creation encircles intricate miniature paintings by Nawaz Modi Singhania, marking a significant moment in Soni’s creative journey and in the evolution of contemporary Indian jewellery.

With BraceWatch, Soni departs from her long-standing focus on exclusive one-of-a-kind pieces to introduce a trendsetting collectible designed for a wider audience. The launch signals a strategic and creative shift, translating her philosophy of jewellery as wearable art into a form that is both accessible and highly collectible, while retaining the integrity of craftsmanship and artistic expression that defines her work.
The piece was inaugurated by Avanti Birla and has already generated strong interest within the luxury and design community, with orders reportedly lined up until January 2026. Its early reception underlines the growing appetite for jewellery that sits at the intersection of art, fashion, and collectability.
Available in three classic yet striking colourways—red, green, and blue—BraceWatch stands out as a vibrantly visual design. The bracelet is the result of eight months of intensive experimentation, during which the design team worked to source the ideal stone roughs and develop settings capable of framing the miniature artworks seamlessly. The outcome is a distinctive bracelet that balances artistic detail with universal appeal, making it a statement piece as well as a cultural artefact.
Soni has consistently been at the forefront of redefining jewellery in India. Her iconic collections, including Animal Farm, challenged conventional notions of fine jewellery, while her pioneering work in 2007 introduced miniature artworks by artist Lakshman Shreshtha into fine jewellery, positioning adornment as a medium for artistic storytelling. BraceWatch builds on this legacy, reinforcing her role as a designer who continually expands the boundaries of what jewellery can represent.
The launch also comes at a milestone moment for Soni, who recently received recognition as the founder of the country’s first woman-led jewellery brand, further cementing her status as a pioneer in bespoke and artistic jewellery. With BraceWatch, Poonam Soni not only celebrates her enduring commitment to innovation but also opens a new chapter in collectible design, where art, heritage, and contemporary fashion converge in a single, timeless piece.
