Known as the "Greenman", Viral Sudhir Desai, a renowned environmentalist and industrialist from Gujarat, most awarded textile company ‘Zenitex’ has been selected for the Best Performing Unit Award in the Textile (Small Unit) sector under the National Energy Conservation Award (NECA) 2025.

The National Energy Day grand ceremony was held in the esteemed presence of Hon’ble President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu as the Chief Guest.

This marks his third consecutive Golden Trophy and his sixth National Award in total, recognizing the organisation’s exemplary efforts and extraordinary contribution in the energy efficiency and conservation.

Expressing his joy on this achievement, Viral Desai stated, “This award is not just for me or my company, but for everyone committed to nature.
