Tuco Kids, India's first personal care brand created exclusively for children aged 3 to 13, has unveiled its latest campaign featuring filmmaker and choreographer Farah Khan. Positioned as a cultural conversation, the campaign challenges a deeply ingrained yet overlooked parenting habit, the use of adult skincare products on children.
The candid spotlight comes from Tuco Kids' bold new campaign titled "Would You Let Your Child...?" a series of films that use provocative scenarios to challenge a widespread but rarely questioned parenting habit: giving children adult skincare products.
Bringing her trademark candour to the screen, Farah appears as a hands-on mother of three, grounding the film in authenticity.
Viewers are asked whether they would allow their child to hold a beer, sit behind a steering wheel, or get married, each met with an instinctive refusal before the narrative pivots to its central provocation: "Toh ek second… iske liye answer hai NO. Toh phir adult skincare? Woh kaise haan ho gaya?"The storytelling is further sharpened through Farah's exchange with her now-famous real-life cook, Dilip, whose innocent questions become the trigger for the film's defining moments, adding humour and everyday relatability.
In a particularly memorable behind-the-scenes moment that has resonated with parents, Farah is seen chasing her manager with a chappal, lamenting: "Arre yaar… Yeh brand mere bachche jab chhote the tab laana chahiye tha. Teen-teen bachchon ka ab teenage khatam hone aaya hai, aur tu ab yeh brand laa raha hai" her frustration echoing what thousands of Indian parents feel about the lack of age-appropriate skincare options for children.
As the narrative progresses, the film underscores the functional insight at its core: that children's skin is more delicate and requires gentler formulations, given constant exposure to sun, sweat, pollution, and outdoor play.
The campaign showcases Tuco's product range, including the Dull Skin Kit and the Tangled Hair Kit . All formulations use trusted ingredients like reetha, amla, turmeric, and kesar and are certified by both dermatologists and pediatricians.
