L’Atelier 1664, the lifestyle platform inspired by 1664 Blanc, showcased its collaboration with leading design house Abraham & Thakore at Lakmé Fashion Week 2026. The runway presentation featured the collection “The Sari’torial,” highlighting the creative dialogue between French design sensibility and contemporary Indian craftsmanship.

This season marked the first creative collaboration between L’Atelier 1664 and Abraham & Thakore. The partnership brings together the platform’s vision of a modern French lifestyle with the designers’ signature textile-first approach to contemporary Indian fashion.

The highlight of the evening was the runway presentation of “The Sari’torial,” a collection inspired by L’Atelier 1664. The designs explored the interplay of structured tailoring and fluid sari drapes, reinterpreting everyday silhouettes through clean lines, refined detailing and Abraham & Thakore’s distinctive textile sensibility.

The collection featured a sophisticated colour palette accented with L’Atelier 1664’s signature blue, reflecting a balance between modern structure and effortless elegance.
Beyond the runway, L’Atelier 1664 also hosted an Experiential Lounge at Lakmé Fashion Week, creating a vibrant space for fashion insiders, tastemakers, celebrities and members of the media. The lounge featured curated installations, photo moments and brand experiences inspired by the spirit of French joie de vivre, quickly becoming a hub for conversations and networking during the event. Mrs. Agnès Silva, Deputy Consul General of France in Mumbai graced our event, which further elevated the evening.

Partha Sarathi Jha, Vice President – Marketing, Carlsberg India, said: “L’Atelier 1664 was created as a platform that brings together culture, design and contemporary lifestyle. Our collaboration with Abraham & Thakore at Lakmé Fashion Week brought this vision to life on the runway. The response from the fashion community and the energy around the L’Atelier lounge reflect the power of creative collaborations that celebrate the best of French-inspired elegance and Indian craftsmanship.”
The designers of Abraham & Thakore added: “This association with L’Atelier 1664 reflects a meeting of sensibilities - French art de vivre and the richness of Indian craftsmanship. It is a fusion of ideas that celebrates heritage, creativity, and a contemporary way of living.”
Through its continued association with Lakmé Fashion Week, L’Atelier 1664 continues to strengthen its engagement with India’s evolving fashion and cultural landscape, bringing together designers, tastemakers and creative communities through curated experiences.
