The Governing Council of the Wool Research Association (WRA) has announced the appointment of  Kunal Toshkhani as the President of the Association for a term of two years, according to an official statement released on its LinkedIn page.

In his role as President, Toshkhani will serve in a non-executive leadership capacity, providing strategic direction and governance oversight to the Association. His responsibilities will include chairing Governing Council meetings, guiding policy formulation and research priorities, fostering stronger collaboration between industry and academia, and supporting the continued advancement of WRA’s initiatives within the wool and textile sector.

The appointment is being viewed as a significant milestone for the Association.  Toshkhani becomes the youngest President in WRA’s history, reflecting a progressive approach to leadership and a commitment to encouraging fresh perspectives within the organization.
