The 6th edition of the Fabrics, Accessories & Beyond Show (FAB Show 2026), organised by the Clothing Manufacturers Association of India (CMAI), was inaugurated today by Industry Leaders at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, Mumbai. Scheduled from April 2 to 4, 2026, the show brings together the entire textile and garment supply chain under one roof, with a strong focus on innovation, sustainability, and emerging technologies shaping the future of the industry.
The CMAI FAB Show 2026 has drawn great interest at the inauguration, attracting a large number of export houses, textile export houses, and international textile suppliers. This strong turnout shows the event's appeal as a key gathering for the apparel and fabric industry.

Guests of Honour who inaugurated the FAB Show 2026 included Rushabh Gala - Zola Fashions, Deepak Sheta – Indoera; Santosh Bandari Yadav - Aditya Birla, Kapil Biradar - Aditya Birla Fashion & Retail, Pragati Srivastava - Rayomd Lifestyle, Essdee Shanmugasundaram - President, South India Hosiery Manufacturers' Association, among others. Office bearers of regional industry associations were also felicitated during the inauguration ceremony present at the inauguration included The Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce & Industry; Federation of Surat Textile Traders Association; Garment Exporters Association of Rajasthan; Indore Readymade Vastra Vyapari Sangh and Eastern UP Exporters Association.
Spanning nearly 2 lakh sq. ft. of exhibition space, the show features over 250 exhibitors showcasing the latest innovations in fabrics, trims, accessories, machinery, and ancillary services. As India’s largest B2B sourcing platform for the garment industry, FAB Show 2026 provides a comprehensive marketplace for manufacturers, exporters, retailers, private labels, and e-commerce players to discover new materials, build sourcing partnerships, and enhance business efficiency. The show is expected to attract over 14,000 trade visitors from more than 320 cities across India, along with international buyers from 27 countries including Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, US, UAE, Egypt, Mauritius, China and others.

A key highlight of this year’s edition is the debut of an International Pavilion, featuring leading suppliers from one of the world’s largest textile manufacturing hubs, alongside strong participation from domestic textile clusters such as Surat, Ahmedabad, Bhilwara, Jaipur, Ludhiana, Gurugram & NCR, Erode, Tiruppur, Bengaluru, and Mumbai. Curated business networking sessions are also being held to enable focused interactions between brands, corporates, exporters, international buyers, and key decision-makers.
Speaking on the occasion, Santosh Katariya, President, Clothing Manufacturers Association of India (CMAI), said, “FAB Show has become a vital sourcing platform for India’s garment industry. The Surat Pavilion features over 50 stalls, showcasing the city’s growing strength as a diverse textile hub. Once known primarily as a polyester centre, Surat has steadily evolved into a multi-fabric destination, now producing and manufacturing a wide range of cotton and sustainable fabrics.
Highlighting the increasing role of technology, FAB Show 2026 also features select Artificial Intelligence solution providers offering advanced capabilities across design, production, inventory, and retail. A special segment on “Future Factory/Green Factories” by Magus Fashion City showcases next-generation sustainable manufacturing infrastructure, underlining the industry’s shift towards smart and responsible production.
