Actor-producer Anushka Sharma has acquired a minority stake in Agilitas Sports, further strengthening her association with the sportswear sector. The investment marks a strategic partnership between Sharma and the company, which was founded by former executives of PUMA India and is focused on building a strong presence in the sports footwear and apparel market.
As part of the collaboration, Sharma will play an active role in developing the yoga-wear category under One8, the sportswear brand acquired by Agilitas last year. The move is expected to strengthen One8’s presence in the growing activewear and wellness-inspired apparel segment.
The development follows an earlier investment by Sharma’s husband and renowned cricketer Virat Kohli, who acquired a minority stake in Agilitas Sports in 2025 as a co-investor and business partner. The transaction also included Agilitas’ acquisition of the One8 brand, further deepening the relationship between the company and the celebrity entrepreneur.
Confirming the development, Abhishek Ganguly, Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Agilitas Sports, said, “Anushka is partnering with Agilitas by investing capital in the company and building yoga-wear.” He, however, declined to disclose the financial details of the transaction.
Agilitas Sports operates in the sports footwear and apparel segment, offering products through its portfolio of owned brands and strategic partnerships. The company has been focused on expanding its footprint in India’s rapidly evolving sportswear market through brand acquisitions, innovation and category expansion.
With Sharma’s investment and involvement in product development, Agilitas is expected to further strengthen the positioning of One8 in the fitness, yoga and lifestyle apparel space, catering to the growing demand for performance-driven and wellness-focused sportswear among Indian consumers.
