The 83rd National Garment Fair (NGF) – Womenswear and Menswear segment, organised by the Clothing Manufacturers Association of India (CMAI), concluded on a highly successful note after three days of significant business engagement from July 13 to 15, 2026. Held simultaneously at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, Goregaon and MMRDA Grounds, BKC, Bandra East. Together with the Kidswear segment held earlier and the recently concluded Women’s & Men’s Wear segment, the 83rd National Garment Fair welcomed a combined footfall of over 48,500 buyers, including retailers, distributors, wholesalers and buying agents, further strengthening its position as India's largest apparel trade fair.

The 83rd NGF received an enthusiastic response from buyers, with strong trade bookings placed ahead of the festive and wedding season, reflecting robust demand across apparel categories. Spread across more than 60,000 sq. metres of exhibition space, the event showcased over 600 Womenswear brands, 345 Menswear brands, 600 Kidswear brands, and 45 fashion accessories labels, making it one of the most comprehensive editions of the National Garment Fair to date.
The fair also witnessed strong participation from leading retailers and buying houses representing metro cities as well as Tier II and Tier III markets, reflecting the growing demand for organised sourcing platforms and the increasing purchasing power across India's retail landscape. The presence of around 284 Platinum Buyers further strengthened business opportunities for participating exhibitors.
Witnessing the growth of the apparel industry, Santosh Katariya, President of CMAI, said, “The Indian apparel industry is undergoing a metamorphosis as consumers seek fashion that reflects their individuality, lifestyle, and aspirations.
