Hyundai is putting the pedal to couture once again. The automaker has announced the 19th edition of Hyundai India Couture Week 2026, extending its partnership with the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) for a fourth consecutive year while introducing Hyderabad as a new runway destination.
The fashion showcase will run from 23 to 29 July, opening with a special presentation by acclaimed designer Anamika Khanna at the iconic Taj Falaknuma Palace on 23 July. It marks the first time the event will begin outside Delhi.
Following the opening showcase, the couture week will move to Taj Palace, where leading Indian couturiers will unveil their latest collections from 24 to 29 July.
As part of the celebrations, Hyundai Motor India Limited will also present a special showcase of its flagship electric SUV, the IONIQ 5, commemorating the company’s 30-year journey in India.
Speaking on the partnership, Hyundai Motor India Limited, managing director and chief executive officer, Tarun Garg said the collaboration reflects the shared belief that design, innovation and craftsmanship have the power to create meaningful experiences.
He added that design lies at the heart of Hyundai’s vision for future mobility and that the platform allows the company to celebrate India’s creative talent while strengthening its connection with customers who value innovation and style.
Meanwhile, Fashion Design Council of India, chairman, Sunil Sethi said the partnership has helped establish Hyundai India Couture Week as the country’s premier couture platform, showcasing the artistry of Indian designers and artisans while continuing to raise the bar for creativity.
The 19th edition will feature an extensive line-up of designers, including Falguni Shane Peacock, Rohit Bal, House of Masaba, JJ Valaya, Tarun Tahiliani, Roseroom by Isha Jajodia, Rimzim Dadu, Arpita Mehta, Kunal Rawal, Dolly J, Jayanti Reddy, Aisha Rao and Rahul Mishra.
The event continues to serve as one of India’s biggest showcases for couture fashion, bringing together established designers, luxury brands and fashion enthusiasts under one roof.
With Hyderabad joining the itinerary for the first time and Delhi continuing as the main venue, this year’s edition signals an expansion of India’s flagship couture platform while blending fashion, craftsmanship and automotive design into a single celebration.
