Jayanti Reddy returns to the runway at Hyundai India Couture Week 2026, in association with Nexxus New York, to unveil The Gilded Era, a collection that marks a defining evolution in the house's design language. Presented on 28 July 2026 at Taj Palace, New Delhi, the collection explores a quieter, more nuanced expression of luxury, where luminosity is approached with restraint and opulence is articulated through refinement rather than excess.

Comprising 60 looks, including 50 womenswear and 10 menswear, The Gilded Era presents a complete couture narrative rooted in elegance, precision and modernity. At the heart of the collection are 11–12 hero pieces, each conceived as a showcase of exceptional craftsmanship and intricate surface detailing while maintaining an effortless sense of fluidity.
This season, light becomes both medium and muse. Sequins, metallic threads and intricate embellishments are layered with remarkable precision, creating garments that reveal dimension, movement and texture as they catch the light. The introduction of black into Jayanti Reddy's signature palette lends the collection a striking sense of contrast, balancing radiance with depth and bringing a new, contemporary perspective to the house's romantic aesthetic.
Rooted in the label's enduring reverence for Indian craftsmanship, The Gilded Era reimagines heritage through a contemporary lens. Intricate thread work and traditional zardozi embroidery are refined to feel lighter, more fluid and architecturally precise, while silhouettes are deliberately pared back to allow the artistry of handwork to take centre stage. Every element has been thoughtfully considered, not only for its beauty, but for the way it interacts with the body, revealing texture, movement and light with every step.

The collection reflects a thoughtful dialogue between tradition and innovation. Rather than preserving craft as nostalgia or reinventing it for novelty, Jayanti Reddy evolves artisanal techniques for the modern woman, bringing together sculptural construction, fluid tailoring and intricate handwork in garments that feel timeless yet distinctly contemporary. Signature house silhouettes include structured corsets, elongated tunics, fluid kaftans and dramatic trail skirts which are reimagined with renewed lightness, creating a wardrobe that balances couture artistry with effortless wearability. The result is couture defined not by ornamentation alone, but by precision, proportion and an instinctive sense of elegance.
