Louis Philippe has launched its Onam Collection 2026 with a campaign featuring comedian and performer Kenny Sebastian. Titled “Get Louis Philippe. Get Onam Right”, the campaign has been conceptualised and executed by Schbang.
The campaign draws on familiar Onam moments, including coming home, getting dressed, meeting relatives, gifting and dealing with unsolicited family advice.
The hero film is set in a contemporary Malayali home, where a request to 'wear something nice' turns into an imagined family inspection. The campaign uses the idea of 'Wardrobe Mallu-fication' to present the collection.
Sebastian's Malayali roots and observational humour form the basis of the campaign's tone. Three short-form films extend the idea, focusing on gifting, the festive season and choosing an outfit.
The campaign is running across social and digital platforms, including Meta and YouTube, through short-form films, collection-led carousels, static creatives and performance content.
On the collection and campaign, Deepika Sabharwal Tewari, Head of Marketing at Louis Philippe, said, “Onam gives us such a rich and distinctive world to design for, from the prints and colours to the way people come together and get ready for the day. What makes Onam truly special is that it is a great equaliser — no matter where you are or how you live, everyone comes home to the familiar warmth, rituals and celebration of Onam.
For generations, Louis Philippe has been a much-loved part of these celebrations, and this collection is our way of bringing that shared feeling into modern menswear. Kenny’s interpretation brings it to life beautifully, making the collection feel like a natural part of your Onam celebrations.”
Karthik Krishnan, Senior Creative Director, Schbang, said, “This was a perfect match for the Onam collection, with Kenny and Louis Philippe both being culturally rooted and authentic, while having utter devotion to their craft. We wanted the campaign to sit inside Onam the way Malayalis actually experience it, and Kenny's presence let us do that across the main film and the shorties without it ever feeling like a stretch.”
The Onam collection features Kerala-inspired prints, premium fabrics, embroidery and festive detailing.
