SEIKO unveils the Prospex India Limited Edition, the third creation in its nature-inspired series, a distinctive timepiece inspired by the majestic power and enduring spirit of the Indian tiger. Limited to just 1,000 timepieces, the special edition brings together SEIKO’s Japanese watchmaking expertise with design cues drawn from one of India’s most revered symbols of strength and resilience. 

The timepiece features a distinctive dial inspired by the rich colour and textured appearance of a tiger’s coat, with warm, earthy tones and a tactile finish that capture the animal’s powerful and elusive character. True to the robust character of the Prospex collection, the watch is paired with an additional black silicone strap, offering versatility across different occasions. Powered by SEIKO’s reliable 4R calibre, it delivers a 41-hour power reserve, combining dependable mechanical performance with the functionality synonymous with Prospex. Adding to its collector appeal, the first 300 customers will receive an exclusive collector’s box featuring a leaping tiger rendered in gold foil, designed as a distinctive keepsake. 

The launch marks a special collaboration with Aarzoo Khurana, celebrated wildlife photographer and the first person, as well as the first woman, to photograph all 58 of India’s tiger reserves. Her extraordinary journey through India’s wilderness forms the inspiration for a brand film created around the Prospex India Limited Edition, bringing together her perspective on the tiger with SEIKO’s spirit of adventure. 

Through this collaboration SEIKO India is contributing to WWF-India’s efforts to mitigate human-wildlife conflict in tiger habitats in the Sundarbans through the installation of AI and GSM-enabled cameras and solar-powered streetlights. The initiative supports safer coexistence between local communities and wildlife while contributing to the protection of the Indian tiger and its habitat. 

The timepiece was unveiled at an exclusive launch event held on 9th September 2026 at the SEIKO Boutique, Marks Square, Bengaluru, bringing together guests to celebrate craftsmanship, heritage and the adventurous spirit of the Prospex collection.
