Mothercare, the global parenting and baby-care brand, has expanded its retail presence in Gurugram with a new store at Elan Miracle in Sector 84. The development was announced by Elan through its official LinkedIn communication, welcoming the brand to its retail destination.

The new Mothercare store brings the brand’s portfolio of maternity, baby and kids’ products to consumers in the Sector 84 catchment, strengthening the retail offering at Elan Miracle.

Founded in the UK in 1961, Mothercare has built its global positioning around supporting families through different stages of the parenting journey. The brand’s portfolio spans maternity and baby essentials, clothing, travel products, nursery solutions, feeding, sleep, toys and other products for young children. Mothercare says it currently supports families across 21 international markets.

In India, Mothercare has operated through Reliance Brands. In October 2024, Mothercare plc and Reliance Brands Holding UK Limited announced a strategic joint venture under which the joint venture would own the Mothercare brand and related intellectual property for India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bhutan and Bangladesh. At the time of the announcement, Reliance Brands stated that it operated 87 Mothercare stores across 25 Indian cities, alongside its e-commerce presence.

The new Sector 84 location offers categories including baby gear, baby care, furniture and bedding, with products such as strollers, carriers, bouncers, baby-care products, cots, cotbeds and blankets listed for the store. Mothercare’s official store locator identifies the outlet on the first floor in Sector 84, Gurugram.

For Elan Miracle, the addition of Mothercare further broadens its tenant mix with a specialised international brand focused on maternity, baby and children’s products. Elan’s official website lists Elan Miracle as one of its commercial developments in Sector 84, Gurugram.

The opening adds another specialised retail destination for families in the rapidly developing Sector 84 area, while extending Mothercare’s physical retail footprint in the Gurugram market.
