Ray-Ban Meta has unveiled its broadest portfolio to date with the launch of Ray-Ban Meta (Gen 3), the next generation of its AI-enabled glasses. The expanded range brings new technology and experiences to distinctive Ray-Ban designs, with Aviator and Zena joining the Gen 3 lineup alongside the continuing evolution of Wayfarer.
Ray-Ban Meta (Gen 3) combines a slimmer and refined design with enhanced comfort and upgraded technology. The collection features a 3K Ultra HD camera for hands-free content capture, a new six-array microphone system designed for clearer audio and voice interactions, an assignable action button for quick access to Meta AI or other preferred features, and up to nine hours of battery life. Flexible temple tips are also designed to provide a more personalised fit.
Through Meta AI, users can interact with their surroundings and access a range of hands-free functions. These include asking questions about what they see, discovering local recommendations, translating conversations in real time, catching up on messages, setting reminders and capturing moments from their point of view without reaching for a smartphone.
A key addition to the portfolio is the Aviator, which joins the Ray-Ban Meta collection for the first time. Originally introduced in 1937 for a functional purpose, the Aviator frame has since become one of Ray-Ban's most recognisable designs. The Gen 3 version combines the established Aviator silhouette with Meta AI, hands-free capture and immersive audio capabilities.
Ray-Ban Meta will also introduce a Limited-Edition Ray-Ban Meta (Gen 3) Aviator in a vintage-inspired Milky Warm Beige finish with Transitions Gen S Brown lenses. The limited-edition style will be available across most participating markets.
Alongside Aviator, Wayfarer continues its evolution within the Ray-Ban Meta portfolio, while Zena joins the range with a geometric cat-eye silhouette that introduces a new expression of the Ray-Ban aesthetic.
Lens choice remains a key part of the expanded portfolio, with Ray-Ban Meta offering a broad selection designed for different vision requirements, lifestyles and environments. Options include clear and sun lenses, Transitions, Polarized and Blue Light Filter lenses, along with a full range of unrestricted prescription options.
Blayzer Optics (Gen 2) and Scriber Optics (Gen 2) also return in new seasonal colourways, including Transparent Shiny Dark Olive, Shiny Brick Brown and Transparent Shiny Ocean Blue. The expanded range is designed to provide additional options for prescription wearers while extending the styling possibilities across the Ray-Ban Meta collection.
With the Gen 3 launch, Ray-Ban Meta is expanding its offering across frame shapes, lens technologies, prescription options and markets, combining Ray-Ban's established eyewear designs with next-generation AI-enabled functionality.
