British menswear brand Ben Sherman has expanded its retail presence with the opening of a new store at Centrio Mall in Dehradun. The development was announced by the company through its official LinkedIn page, marking the brand’s latest retail addition in India.

Located at Centrio Mall on New Cantt. Road, the new store brings Ben Sherman’s menswear proposition to consumers in Dehradun, combining the brand’s British heritage with contemporary styling. Centrio Mall houses a range of fashion, footwear, beauty and lifestyle brands, strengthening its positioning as a retail destination in the city.

Founded in 1963, Ben Sherman has built its identity around British style and menswear, with the brand’s heritage closely associated with its signature shirts and the Mod movement. The company’s first Ben Sherman shirt was launched in 1963 after founder Arthur Benjamin Sugarman, known as Ben Sherman, began designing his own shirts in Brighton. The brand’s distinctive button-down shirts, use of colour and patterned fabrics subsequently became closely linked with British youth culture and fashion.

Over the decades, Ben Sherman has expanded its portfolio beyond shirts to include polos, knitwear, jackets, trousers, chinos and other menswear essentials. Its current collections continue to combine classic British influences with contemporary design, with products including Oxford and check shirts, Harrington jackets, polos and tailored casualwear.

The brand’s heritage also remains connected to British music and youth culture.
