Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL) has expanded the responsibilities of Yogesh Mulgaonkar, appointing him as Chief Financial Officer, Beauty & Wellbeing and Head of Investor Relations. Mulgaonkar assumed the enlarged mandate this month, building on his previous role as Vice President – Finance/CFO, Personal Care, Supply Chain and Head of Investor Relations.
Mulgaonkar has held finance leadership responsibilities at HUL for several years, with experience spanning financial management, business partnering and supply chain. He took on the additional responsibility of Head of Investor Relations in 2025 following the departure of Shilpa Kedia, who had previously led the function.
Since taking over the investor relations mandate, Mulgaonkar has been a regular participant in HUL’s earnings calls, leading investor relations proceedings and interacting with analysts and investors on the company’s financial performance, business developments and outlook. He was also identified as Head of Investor Relations and Head of Finance, Personal Care during HUL’s 2025 and 2026 earnings calls.
His latest role places him at the helm of the company’s Beauty & Wellbeing finance function while continuing to oversee investor relations. The portfolio represents one of HUL’s key business segments, with brands spanning beauty, personal care and wellbeing.
At HUL’s Capital Markets Day in September 2026, Mulgaonkar was identified as the leader for Beauty & Wellbeing and Investor Relations as the company presented its strategic priorities for the next phase of growth.
His expanded mandate comes as HUL continues to sharpen its focus on higher-growth categories and portfolio-led expansion. The company has identified premiumisation, market-making and selective new category entries as key levers for accelerating growth, with Beauty & Wellbeing playing an important role in its broader portfolio strategy.
