Swiss Beauty is asking consumers to leave their makeup worries behind and immerse themselves in festive celebrations with its latest campaign, ‘We Got You’, featuring actor Taapsee Pannu.
Set to the popular ’90s track ‘Saat Samundar Paar’, the campaign film captures Pannu dancing without inhibition, using the energy of a wedding dance floor to highlight the importance of makeup that keeps up with every celebration.
The campaign builds on two brand propositions: ‘We Got You’, which promises dependable makeup performance, and ‘Tested by India’, which reinforces the brand’s focus on consumer trust. Together, they position makeup as an enabler of self-expression rather than something consumers need to worry about while celebrating.
Speaking about the campaign, Mohit Goyal, Founder, Swiss Beauty, said, “At Swiss Beauty, we believe beauty should empower people to express themselves freely, without holding back. With ‘We Got You’, we want to reinforce a simple promise to our consumers: go out, have fun and embrace every moment, while we take care of your makeup needs. As we continue to build the brand, our focus remains on creating products that combine performance with the freedom to be unapologetically yourself.”
Gresha, Creative Director, said the idea emerged from the observation that wedding dance floors are where people let go of their inhibitions. She added, “The starting point was a simple observation: if there is one place where India truly lets go, it's on a wedding dance floor. Nobody is counting the hours, watching the clock or holding back. And what better place to test makeup than in the middle of all that energy? That's where the idea of ‘Tested by India’ came from. The Idea was to take makeup out of the predictable world of beauty advertising and put it into a moment that is unmistakably ours. The creative challenge was to make product performance the story without making it feel like a product demonstration. Every beat, every movement and every expression in the film is designed to capture that spirit. The most exciting part is that we haven't invented a situation to prove a claim. We have simply taken something India already does beautifully and made it the Ultimate Test.”
