Hyderabad witnessed a remarkable blend of glamour, purpose, and tradition as Femina Miss India World Nandini Gupta visited the city in a heartfelt and inspiring tour that highlighted her advocacy for empowerment and cultural appreciation.
The tour began at the Aditya Mehta Foundation’s Infinity Para Sports Academy and Rehabilitation Centre—a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to nurturing para-athletes from across the country. Nandini immersed herself in the experience, exploring the Academy’s advanced infrastructure and the holistic rehabilitative systems in place for athletes with disabilities. With grace and sincerity, she interacted with the athletes, listening closely to their stories of resilience, triumph, and grit.
In return, she shared her own journey—narrating the challenges she overcame, the milestones she achieved, and the drive that propelled her to win the coveted title of Femina Miss India World. Her motivational address to the athletes left a lasting impression, as she encouraged them to keep striving, dreaming, and excelling on the world stage.
“Jewellery offers men a way to define their personal style, mark meaningful moments, and express individuality,” she said, reflecting on her broader vision of empowerment—a message that resonates with all communities, including the differently-abled.
The Hyderabad visit took on greater significance against the backdrop of the upcoming 72nd Miss World pageant, scheduled to take place in the city in 2025. At a well-attended press conference, leading media outlets gathered to hear from India’s official representative. Poised and articulate, Nandini spoke about her preparations for the international stage, her Beauty With A Purpose project—Project Ekta—and her passion for championing change through advocacy.
Project Ekta, meaning ‘togetherness’ in Sanskrit, is a cause close to Nandini’s heart. Inspired by her uncle who lived with Down Syndrome, the initiative focuses on uplifting the differently-abled community by promoting inclusion, boosting confidence, and creating opportunities for self-sufficiency. The project is being implemented in collaboration with organizations like Om Creations Trust, ATLAS University, and the MCA Club, in association with Rotary Club of India. Through these partnerships, Nandini aims to foster greater awareness and challenge the stigma surrounding disability, while showcasing the immense potential of the differently-abled.
As her visit drew to a close, Nandini took a cultural pause at the historic Charminar. Against the glow of the twilight sky, she strolled through the monument’s timeless corridors, soaking in the essence of Hyderabad’s rich heritage and charm. It was a quiet yet powerful moment—a modern icon reflecting amidst the city’s storied past.
Nandini Gupta’s journey is nothing short of inspiring. Hailing from Kota, Rajasthan, she has become a beacon of beauty, purpose, and potential. A student of Business Management, Nandini has walked for top designers including Randeep Ranawat, Bhawna Rao, Pallavi Sethi, Seema Kashyap, and Mandira Wirk. She has also graced the cover of The Lifestyle Magazine, and used her platform to support causes such as handloom preservation and cancer awareness through her appearances at Bhubaneshwar Fashion Week.
Her advocacy spans environmental sustainability, women's empowerment, and sportsmanship. She lent her support to the USPA Princess Diya Kumari Foundation Ladies Polo Cup and has spoken at TEDx at IIT Bombay. A digital influencer in her own right, she has been recognized by the Bhartiya Influencers Association for her impact in the digital space.
Despite her many accolades, Nandini remains grounded in her roots as a farmer’s daughter—a fact she proudly acknowledges. Now ready to foray into acting through TV commercials and music videos, she continues to embody a rare combination of elegance, empathy, and ambition.
As India prepares to host Miss World 2025, Hyderabad welcomed not just a beauty queen but a true ambassador of hope and change. Nandini Gupta’s visit marked a symbolic beginning to a journey that promises to inspire millions—one story, one purpose, and one dream at a time.
