Tata Group’s Titan Company Ltd has announced a major leadership transition set to take effect in the coming months, marking a strategic reshuffle across key business divisions.
Ajoy Chawla, currently serving as CEO of Titan’s Jewellery Division, will assume the role of Managing Director of the company from January 1, 2026, succeeding C K Venkataraman, the incumbent MD. The announcement was made through a regulatory filing on Friday.
In line with this change, Arun Narayan, who presently heads the Tanishq India business, will step into Chawla’s role as CEO of the Jewellery Division, also effective January 1, 2026. Narayan currently leads retail, marketing, and merchandising operations for Tanishq and will now oversee Titan's broader jewellery portfolio.
Additionally, Kuruvilla Markose, CEO of Titan’s International Business Division, has been appointed as the new CEO of the Watches Division, taking over from Suparna Mitra, who has resigned. This change will come into effect from August 13, 2025, following Mitra’s exit on August 12.
These changes are part of Titan’s continued efforts to strengthen leadership across verticals and ensure seamless succession in its growing consumer businesses, which include jewellery, watches, eyewear, and international markets.
