Pantaloons, a vibrant fashion destination under Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Ltd. (ABFRL), has opened a brand-new outlet at the prestigious Oberoi Sky City Mall in Borivali East, Mumbai. This marks another milestone as the brand strengthens its retail footprint in one of the city's fastest-growing suburban shopping hubs. The store launch was officially announced on LinkedIn by a company official, signalling Pantaloons’ continued commitment to fashionable accessibility and expanding its reach in metro and suburban markets.
Founded in 1997 and now operating under ABFRL after consolidation with Madura Fashion & Lifestyle, Pantaloons has evolved into one of India’s largest lifestyle fashion chains. The brand now boasts over 400 stores across 190+ cities, backed by the extensive ADITYA BIRLA GROUP ecosystem. Known for offering affordable, trend-driven apparel and accessories for men, women, and children, Pantaloons operates as a one-stop destination for family fashion.

The new Borivali outlet, spread across Level 1 and Level 2 of Sky City Mall, joins a wide mix of domestic and international brands in a mall. Developed by Oberoi Realty, the mall offers over 1.2 million sq. ft of retail and entertainment space, along with metro connectivity and a strong footfall from adjacent suburbs like Kandivali, Malad, and Dahisar.
The store features Pantaloons’ signature shopping experience: a wide fashion flap that includes casual wear, ethnic collections, formalwear, partywear, and accessories. With multiple private labels and licensed brands under one roof, the brand continues its strategy of offering high fashion at accessible price points, targeting millennials and young-at-heart consumers.

The launch amplifies Pantaloons’ retail strategy of expanding both via gros and suburban high streets, while also leveraging omnichannel engagement. The brand has invested heavily in promotions, loyalty programmes, and digital platforms, reflecting its customer-first philosophy.
This new store is expected to cater to the fast-fashion needs of Mumbai’s suburban demographic, offering affordable style, variety, and convenience to local families and fashion-savvy youth.
