In their latest couture collection, Khwābeeda, designers Rimple & Harpreet weave together memory, nostalgia, and quiet rebellion into a world suspended in time — one where women reclaim the gaze, and beauty finds its truest meaning in introspection.
Set against the evocative backdrop of a once-grand hunting lodge, Khwābeeda tells the story of three women — not society debutantes, nor brides-to-be, but muses who exist beyond temporal bounds. Their days unfold in the still corners of the lodge: verandahs veiled in dust, reading rooms flooded with golden afternoon light, and vanity tables holding the scent of forgotten perfumes.
This is where the collection begins with lehengas, suits, and separates that feel like heirlooms, yet speak a language of their own. Layered silks, hand-embroidered tulle, antique zardozi, and age-washed brocades meet botanical motifs, faded florals, and archival textures — all echoing the softness of something once loved.
The women of Khwābeeda stage their own portrait session — not to be looked at, but to be seen. Dressed in garments that reflect memory and desire, they post for no one but themselves.. This collection is their canvas: intimate, expressive, and unafraid.
Through Khwābeeda, Rimple & Harpreet invite the modern wearer to engage with a quieter, deeper narrative — one that honors tradition not through repetition, but through interpretation.
