Reaffirming its commitment to made-in-India fashion, beauty and lifestyle brands Myntra, today announced the launch of its zero-commission model for all new homegrown D2C partner brands joining its marketplace. As part of the Myntra Rising Stars (MRS) program, this model is designed to help brands seeking to expand their digital presence beyond their own social media channels and website. It enables the eligible D2C brands to establish and build their presence at scale from the early phase on the platform by extending access to Myntra’s well-established customer base and the proven seamless shopping experience.
These brands primarily use their websites or social media to reach their target audience. Myntra’s Zero Commission model helps the aspiring brands to channelise their budget effectively to scale their brands.
What can brands expect?
Speaking on the initiative, Maneesh Kumar Dubey, Vice President, Category Management, Myntra, said, “India’s e-lifestyle industry continues to evolve, with digital-first brands playing an increasingly important role in shaping consumers’ choices. With arguably the highest number of D2C brands, Myntra is dedicated to supporting this burgeoning industry. The Myntra Rising Stars program, which focuses on building a strong, scalable foundation for these brands, is introducing models like zero-commission structures to enable a seamless launch on our platform, provide brands with robust technology to create high-visibility touchpoints and allow them to scale their operations with data-driven insights.”
The MRS program currently hosts over 2,000 brands across fashion, beauty, and lifestyle and has been playing a key role in the overall growth of the industry while catering to the diverse needs of customers. The Zero Commission model follows a highly successful pilot in the women’s ethnic wear category during the 2025 festive season. The pilot saw 200+ new brands join the platform, achieving significant scale and customer penetration within just four months.
