Agilitas Sports is rapidly strengthening its position in India’s sportswear ecosystem, building an end-to-end platform spanning manufacturing, research and development, brand creation and immersive retail experiences. The update was shared by Nikhil Chauhan, Director at Agilitas and Product Head – Sports & Lifestyle, Performance Sports and Athleisure, in a LinkedIn post reflecting on his five-month journey with the company.

Agilitas is focused on creating a fully integrated sportswear ecosystem in India, combining in-house manufacturing and R&D with bold brand-building initiatives and modern retail formats. A key highlight of the company’s growth strategy has been the integration of one8world into the Agilitas portfolio, with Indian cricket icon Virat Kohli joining as an investor and co-founder. In addition, several leading cricketers have become part of Agilitas’ expanding investor and brand ambassador ecosystem, reinforcing its strong athlete-led positioning.
The company is also scaling the iconic global sportswear brand Lotto in India, with a clear ambition of building a ₹1,000-crore business. The strategy includes category expansion, athlete-led marketing campaigns and community-focused initiatives aimed at deepening consumer engagement and brand relevance in the Indian market.

On the retail front, Agilitas is redefining physical sports retail through SportsYard, a concept designed as an experiential destination rather than a traditional store. SportsYard integrates global sports brands with experiential courts, customisation zones and culture-led activations, positioning retail spaces as hubs where consumers can play, learn and connect.
Agilitas continues to expand its roster of athlete partnerships, focusing on meaningful, role-driven collaborations that align with brand values and long-term growth objectives. According to Chauhan, the company is still in the early stages of its journey, with strong foundations in place and significant opportunities ahead across brands, retail formats, athlete collaborations and the broader sports experience in India.
