Aiming to tap into one of Asia’s fastest-growing activewear and performance sports segments, Spanish sportswear brand KELME has officially entered the Indian market with the launch of its first experiential retail store in Noida, alongside its e-commerce platform.
Founded in 1960 by Carlos García Cobaleda in Spain, KELME brings its range of technically engineered sportswear and footwear designed for high-performance sports to India.

Welcoming the India launch, Carlos García Cobaleda, CEO, KELME Spain, said, “KELME is a Spanish brand with a presence in over 100 countries. We are entering India with trusted partners who bring a clear vision to build the brand in this market. We look forward to contributing to India’s growing sports ecosystem.”
The experiential store spans 1,000 sq. ft. and debuts with over 150 SKUs, offering more than 500 colour variants.

Known for its focus on high-performance sports, KELME’s products are tested across Asian and European competitive leagues. Its performance fabrics are engineered for match intensity, with advanced breathability and moisture management systems, making them suitable for high-humidity playing conditions typical of tropical climates like India.
Anurag Singh, CEO, KELME India, said, “The next phase of India’s sportswear market will be performance-led. As more athletes train seriously at the grassroots level, demand for technically advanced, competition-grade products will grow stronger.”
As part of its India strategy, KELME plans to expand through a franchise-led model, aiming to establish 70 Exclusive Brand Outlets (EBOs) across the country over the next three years, while strengthening its e-commerce presence.
The India launch is backed by RSN Sports, an Indian sports company, which will support the brand’s market development and retail expansion.
With a global heritage of over 63 years, KELME has been associated with professional clubs, leagues, and national teams across Europe, Asia, and Latin America. As part of its India roadmap, the brand has also introduced ‘Project 1000’, an initiative aimed at supporting 1,000 aspiring athletes, aligned with a long-term vision towards the 2036 Olympic Games.
