Miguel McKelvey, co-founder of WeWork, has been investing his earnings from the company into an array of eclectic business ventures. Three years after his departure from WeWork, McKelvey has used his funds to support a variety of interests ranging from sneakers to a social center for seniors. He has also taken a controlling stake in American Giant, a US-made apparel brand, with ambitions to rejuvenate American manufacturing. McKelvey's ownership of the fashion brand was previously unknown. He explained that he aims to revitalise American factories and transform them into economic drivers of the US.
