The name Vaana — meaning “forest” or “grove” in Sanskrit — reflects the essence of the collection: a tribute to the serene beauty and quiet strength of the natural world.

The launch was celebrated at Anita Dongre’s headquarters in Rabale, Navi Mumbai, nestled amid nature. Staying true to the designer’s ethos, Vaana integrates age-old techniques and craftsmanship from across India — including bandhani and gota-patti from Rajasthan, jamdani weaves from Bengal, and detailed work by artisans from Maharashtra.
