Metro Brands has hosted the 2026 edition of its Golden Foot Awards, its flagship employee recognition programme, celebrating individuals and teams for achievements across retail, customer experience, corporate functions and warehouse operations.
The annual awards recognised employees and teams for their contribution to business performance, operational efficiency, customer engagement and innovation during the year.
The Retail category recognised achievements across Sales Achievement, Same-Store Growth and Turnaround Stores, highlighting teams that delivered performance improvements across the company's store network.

The i-Delight Stories category recognised customer-centric initiatives and experiences that contributed to strengthening customer engagement and service.
Within the Corporate category, awards were presented for Automation, Ideas and Cost Saving, recognising initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency and developing smarter ways of working.
The Warehouse category recognised teams responsible for supporting the company's supply chain and ensuring the movement of products and fulfilment of operational requirements.
One of the key honours of the evening was the Rafique Malik Award for Excellence, presented by the Chairman. The award recognised excellence in two areas, with E-Commerce receiving the honour in the Business category and Information Technology being recognised among the Support Functions.
The event also featured the Lifetime Achievement Award, which was presented to Jai Raj Kapoor in recognition of his long-standing contribution and dedication to Metro Brands.
The awards were evaluated by an external and internal jury, with the company highlighting the objective assessment process as an important element in recognising the year's achievements.
The Golden Foot Awards also acknowledged the contribution of nominees and winners across functions, while the organising team, HR team and event partners were recognised for executing the third edition of the programme.
The 2026 edition brought together employees from different parts of Metro Brands' operations, reinforcing the company's focus on recognising performance, innovation, customer service and operational contribution across the organisation.
